Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Kerry is a 200hr RYT Yoga Teacher and and has been facilitating retreats for over 5 years.
She thrives on helping her students explore the wonder of their own body to find a deeper understanding of their needs, unique strengths and resources.
Kerry incorporates breathwork, mantra and self-reflection to guide her students into a deeper state of relaxation and help them find their way back towards their true essence.
ALEKS WRUK
Sound Therapist & Wellbeing Educator
Aleks is an experienced facilitator, certified sound therapist and wellbeing educator.
For the last 4 years they have been holding spaces for people to connect with something deeper within themselves and engage more fully with the world around.
They are currently pursuing a PHD in Psychology, focusing on grounded cognition and wellbeing, and are training to become an eco-somatic facilitator.

THE VENUE
The Yoga Barn is a cosy cottage retreat located in the heart of Pollock Park in the Southside of Glasgow.
We’ll gather around the wood burning stove during breaks and you’ll have the opportunity to get outside in nature during lunch if you feel called to.
The Yoga Barn is easily accessible by public transport links and there is parking on site.

Our retreat starts at 11am - please try to arrive 5-10 minutes beforehand to allow yourself to arrive fully before we start the day’s activities

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE COST?
The ticket price incudes a hearty, plant-based lunch, tea & snacks plus all activities planned for the day retreat: yoga, meditations, sound journey, vocal activation and sharing circles.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
· Wear comfortable, loose fitting and warm clothes. Do not shy away from a hot water bottle and thick socks. Most of the movement we'll do will be quite gentle.
· We'll provide yoga mats and bolsters but you might want to bring extra cushions and blankets for your comfort
· Water bottle
CAN I COME ALONE?
Absolutely! This is day retreat is designed to guide you on a journey of self reflection and we will be there to support you every step of the way. It will be a warm and welcoming space whether you choose to come solo or with a friend.
DO I NEED ANY YOGA EXPERIENCE TO JOIN?
No. Kerry will share a slow, gentle yoga practice and provide options and adjustments for every level of ability.
We have plenty of cushions and props to support you in your practice, and you will always be guided to listen to your own body and rest whenever you feel the need.

CAN YOU CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
We will be preparing a plant-based feast for lunch and some tasty snacks and herbal teas for the afternoon break.
If you have a specific dietary requirement or allergy, please reach out in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
DO I NEED TO TAKE PART IN EVERY SESSION?
No, of course not! This is your retreat and your precious time in which to focus on yourself.
We have done our utmost to schedule the retreat to include plenty of time to rest and process your experience, but if you need a little extra we will support you in that!
We encourage you to listen to your needs and take things at your own pace.
